Junk, funk and a whole lotta fun! A professional crew of experienced workshop leaders and polished junk-percussionists who travel the world over entertaining and motivating audiences. A variety of everyday and unusual instruments are combined to create a totally unique orchestra. The group is lead by experts in making music from items such as pipes, oil drums and shopping trolleys.
Performances can be
- The big show - A great way to open or close an event the high energy set with contemporary music (played fully live on junk instruments) can be tailored to your event. There is the option for the audience to just sit back and watch the spectacle unfold or they can be fully involved with the use of hand held instruments all included in the price.
- The ambient background experience - Why settle for the same old string quartet? While clients are sitting down to dinner or mingling quietly give them something to talk about with a background band that play soothing tunes live on junk instruments. Although blending into the background WOS ambient could be the one thing that stands out from the celebrations.
Not satisfied alone with performing WOS are very proud of their much sought after junk drumming workshops. Since 1993 WOS have provided over 2000 workshops to all kinds of different organisations - schools, youth centres, local councils, universities, etc. The workshops are a chance for anyone to get involved and discover their inner musical abilities or just spend an hour hitting a drum as hard as they can!
